An independent imprint at the intersection of the cosmic and the personal.
Aphrodite Electric Press was founded on a single conviction: that astrology and memoir are the same genre. Both begin with the question of why a life unfolds the way it does. Both require the writer to look directly at what happened and find a language for it.
The press takes its name from Aphrodite — goddess of love, beauty, and the kind of desire that reorganizes everything — and from the electric, which is what we want every book to feel like. Not comfortable. Not decorative. Alive.
This is a one-author press. Every book here was written by the same person, working through the same questions from different angles. The catalog is a single long argument, made in four volumes so far.
We believe the birth chart and the memoir are the same genre. Both are attempts to make meaning from the raw material of a life. We publish books that hold both at once.
Astrology is a discipline. Memoir is a craft. We don't publish vague or decorative work — we publish books that have done the hard thinking and earned their conclusions.
We want books that crackle. That feel urgent. That know the sacred and the electric are not opposites — that the divine is always a little dangerous.
The chart is not a destiny. It is a question you spend your whole life answering.
